I’m not your typical outdoor adventure content creator, and that’s exactly the point. My world is a mix of outdoor adventures, travel, and cute outfits lol. Whether I’m hiking rugged trails, road tripping across the country, or solo-backpacking through a new country I’m all about chasing the wild freedom that comes with exploring a new place. It’s what make me feel alive!
Travel has always been a huge part of my story, whether it’s solo backpacking through Europe, skiing in the Alps, dancing through Oktoberfest, spending a semester studying abroad in Amsterdam, or road tripping across Canada and the US in search of hidden gems. I’m all about the kind of travel that’s adventurous, spur of the moment, off the beaten track and inevitably messy…
I hope I inspire you to step outside of your comfort zone and embrace the beauty, challenges, and growth that come with exploring new spots, no matter how you choose to do it! Say yes to new places and experiences, even if it means figuring it out as you go (that’s what everyone else is doing anyways!).
I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and despite looking back now and seeing Ottawa for the outdoor playground it is, back then I hated it. I wasn’t always the outdoorsy type and growing up I was dead-set on becoming a triple thread: singer, dancer, and actress. Hannah Montana and So You Think You Can Dance were on repeat in my living room. I knew I was born for the spotlight, but maybe just in a different way.
Every summer my family road-tripped to Old Orchard Beach in Maine or escaped to a family cottage tucked in the forest on a beautiful lake in rural New Hampshire. The salty breeze of the ocean and quiet morning by the lake must have been secretly rewiring my brain…
As I got older, I chased the feeling of freedom that I didn’t know came to me through travel and adventure but each part of the journey is important. I pursued it everywhere; boarding school in a literal castle for grade 12, a semester of uni in the Netherlands, backpacking and volunteering in hostels across Europe (shout-out to DIPTRON, if you know you know), and even folding an ungodly amount of underwear in a retail outlet store just to fund my next plane ticket.

I make the type of content I wish I could find when I was starting to get into the outdoors and solo-travel. It can be intimidating and I want to help bridge those gaps!

I like to call myself a really outdoorsy girly girl. I’m all in for hiking, camping, and even pooping in the woods or going days without a proper shower, but you know I’ll be booking a pedicure and spray tan the second I’m back in civilization. Same goes for the #hostellife.

So welcome to my little corner of the internet where no adventure is too big. Here, the journey is the goal and the destination just happens to be a super cool spot to stop for lunch ;). Whether it’s a hike, a flight, or just figuring out life as I go I’m all about saying yes and turning the what-ifs into stories. The only limit is whatever you’re brave enough to try!
A Degree in Adventure… Literally.
I’ve gone to university in Amsterdam, backpacked solo across Europe, worked as a whitewater raft guide, moved to Portugal to work in a hostel and learn how to surf, and then randomly took a gap year halfway through my degree that ended up changing my life. I moved into a provincial park, started working literally scrubbing PIT TOILETS, and somehow completely fell in love with the outdoors, like, who is she?!
From there, I worked ski patrol during my first ever season snowboarding powder…, and eventually switched my degree to study adventure, yep, that’s actually what it’s called.
Now I’ve finished my degree and still constantly chasing whatever new path feels exciting. I don’t always know exactly what I’m doing, but I do know that I love exploring, telling stories, and bringing people along for the ride.
